SCHOOL FEES
All fees must be paid for half termly in advance. Fees are calculated according to the number of Saturday’s per term. A late fee of £2.50 (per week) administration charge will be incurred if not paid within 2 weeks from the date of invoice.
A £10.00 registration fee is applicable when joining Essex Performing Arts & Music School.
Refunds/credits will not be given for any missed classes including sickness, coronavirus, self isolating, weather conditions, competition days or school closures. Essex Performing Arts & Music School reserves the right to withhold tuition if fees are unpaid. Fees will not be refunded if a student wishes to withdraw from class at any time during the term.
Parents are required to give a term’s notice in writing should they wish to withdraw their child from the School.
Parents will be responsible for meeting any extra cost for ISTD/RAD/ABRSM examinations should your child be entered.
SCHOOL REGULATIONS
For health and safety, full dance uniform must be worn in class. Hair must be off the face and tied back neatly before commencement of any dance class. Uniform can be purchased from Essex Performing Arts & Music School and are required to do so within 4 weeks from joining. Jewellery is not permitted for any dance class.
We have a drop and go policy in place, all parents must wait outside the school gates for their child to be collected/dismissed for class by the Teacher.
Parents and Students must treat all staff, other pupils and the school premises with respect and behave in an orderly manner whilst on the premises.
Essex Performing Arts & Music School may use photographs/video recordings of students for promotional advertising such as leaflets and websites including facebook to promote the school. A consent form will be given to the parent when registering with the school.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS/ALLERGIES
Parents must inform the Teachers of any physical or medical condition that may affect your child before commencement of any dance class.
All allergies must be listed on the school registration form.
SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
We at Essex Performing Arts & Music School are focused on providing a safe environment for all our students. All staff and volunteers share an objective to help keep children and young people safe. We recognise our duty for safeguarding and protecting children from abuse, as defined in the Children Act 2004, the Education Act 2002 and The Children (Performances and Activities) (England) Regulations 2014.
All staff employed have their Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate and undergo regular training to ensure they fully understand their responsibilities regarding Safeguarding and Child Protection issues.
Any concerns or queries regarding the Safeguarding of any child at EPAMS should be brought to the attention of our Designated Safeguarding Leader Kavitha Niranjan or the Head of Performing Arts & Music, Janet Leak.
